Always a good buy, the 2003 Edna Valley "Paragon" Chardonnay displays an attractive golden color, butter, vanilla, toast, and lemon/pear notes in the aromas and flavor, and a bit of harshness in the finish. Struck me as a bit clumsy, with more oak and viscosity than the wine could really support. - HK 2004-10-18
