I loved this Zin, which has opened up brilliantly in the last two years. Not a powerhouse in the nose, but very complex and beguiling, almost Pinot-like. In the mouth it is ripe, long, complex, and again quite Pinot-like in its elegance and classy feel. Velvet texture with layers of black cherry, plum, strawberry, and raspberry fruit along with a melange of Asian spices and smoke. A hedonist's delight yet with an elegant, weightless feel. - HK 2017-07-07
