Sensational feeling of harmony, balance, grace, and authority. Light in feel yet with a gorgeously intense and complex set of aromatics and flavors: tangerine, lime, buttered pastry, papaya, stony minerality. Full yet elegant and refined. Chardonnays do not get a whole lot better than this one. If bottled today, the wine's appellation would be Fort Ross-Seaview since the Far Coast vineyard is one of the "true" coastal Chardonnays from far western Sonoma County. - HK 2016-10-23 [Back] |
