A worthy successor to the outstanding 2015 Muldune Trail, with oodles of ripe Pinot fruit cascading across the palate, a velvety but mouth-coating and authoritative mouth feel, and long finish. Succulent flavors lean towards dark cherry and currants, with delicious rose petal and sweet spice nuances. In a blind tasting of top-flight Pinot's, it came in second to the Aubert 2018 UV-SL Pinot, but only barely. - HK 2022-03-04
