Iron Horse makes exceptionally good California sparklers, but their still wines are nearly as good. This is a big, intensely scented Viognier that is bone dry yet has a full, almost oily mouth feel. The nose is like entering a flower shop, and the flavors of peaches, ripe persommon, and minerals are delicious. Fairly priced, too. - HK 2001-12-10
