This beautiful pinkish-gold sparkler showed extremely well in this tasting, and was very Champagne-like in feel. Fine, creamy-textured mousse, excellent balance and freshness. The red fruit really shows through in this wine - soft strawberry and cherry fruit along with a hint of rose water. Aged yeasty notes and subtle spiciness add complexity. - HK 2012-12-24
