| 1999 Iron Horse Wedding Cuvee Green Valley, Sonoma Co., California WB Rating: 88 Alcohol by volume: 12.5% Price at time of purchase: $29.00 (from winery) Type: Champagne / Sparkling Principal varietal(s): 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay I feel like a broken record reviewing the Iron Horse sparkling wines: they are simply always excellent. I think in general I prefer the older cuvees and this "young" wine was a little less creamy than some of the other Iron Horse sparklers. But it had the usual Iron Horse liveliness and balance, with a little more green apple and minerals than in the yeastier versions.
