| 2012 Kendall-Jackson Sauvignon Blanc Grand Reserve Mendocino, California WB Rating: 87 Alcohol by volume: 13.5% Price at time of purchase: $20.00 (from winery) Type: Sauvignon Blanc Principal varietal(s): Sauvignon Blanc Another well-made, crisp Sauvignon Blanc from Kendall-Jackson. Not particularly intense, but it has a nice mix of tropical and honeyed citrus flavors and a bracing level of acidity that keeps it refreshing and good with food. No real sign of the grassy side of this varietal here. As always, this wine is often discounted and would be a good buy at under $15. - HK 2014-03-29 [Back] |
