This deeply colored wine displays earthy plum and cherry fruit aromas and flavors, medium body, and some still-youthful tannin in the finish. Not especially layered or long, at least at this point, but good varietal Pinot Noir character and overall harmonious feel. Can probably be purchased for considerably less than the $40 charged at the tasting room, which would make it a more attractive value. - HK 2009-02-15
