Good Syrah, though a bit pricey. Not as rich or interesting as the outstanding '97 Limerick Lane Syrah, but still a flavorful, "Zin-like," fruit-driven wine that's a pleasure to drink. Like the other Limerick Lane reds we've consumed, this one has lots of Russian River blackberry fruit, full body, and mouth-coating tannins. This is an excellent winery; hopefully the prices will not escalate beyond reason. - HK 2002-06-15
