I somehow always expect Lodi wines to be overripe and even raisiny, but I'm also very often wrong about that nowadays.. This Cabernet is excellent - full-bodied but not sweet or heavy, nicely balanced, and with lovely Cabernet varietal character. Attractive, spice-laden notes of dark currants, blackberries, licorice tweak the nose and mouth. Richly textured, nice finish. Really a good buy, and great label too. - HK 2022-07-01 [Back] |
