Always one of my favorite Chardonnays from Martinelli. The 2018 is loaded with fresh, bright fruit flavors touching on lemon meringue pie, ripe peaches and apricots, buttered toast, subtle spiciness. Extremely fresh and forward in the mouth and lingering finish, which always shows tingling mineral notes. As is almost always the case, the crazy-high alcholl level is completely hidden beneath the layers of flavor. I'll never figure out how Martinelli does this. - HK 2023-06-25
