This is my first tasting of an O'Brien wine. Though the wine had some nice pear/mineral and spicy oak character in the nose, it was dominated (at least at this stage) by an overly-high alcohol content that adversely affected its mouth feel, flavor, and finish. (Price estimated.) - HK 2003-11-09
