Deep yellow-gold in color. Rich, complex nose shows honeyed pears, tropical fruits, raw cashews, a touch of lees. Based on the nose one would think this was a 15% California biggie. But there's only 13% alcohol in this wine, and the mouth feel is crisp and anything but overdone. Minerals and toastiness show up in the satisfying finish.
