This is a big, flamboyant Bordeaux/Syrah blend that's full of flavor and personality. Layers of mouth-filling, meaty Cassis and blackberry fruit; big dose of smoldering oak; violet floral edge floating over everything. Very focused and pure flavors - no hollowness anywhere in the texture and finish. Harmonious and smooth yet hedonistic to the extreme. Excellent. - HK 2014-12-26
