Nicely proportioned Zin that is nearly the opposite of the hugely tannic Teldeschi Zins we've tasted from Teldeschi Winery itself. Medium-bodied, elegant wine, certainly not a Big Boy Zin. Classy flavors highlighted by dark cherry and plum fruit and a nice cinnamon-inflected spicy edge. Not especially intense, but beautifully balanced and excellent with food. This was an outstanding buy at under $20. - HK 2012-08-24
