All their wines are harmonious, elegant, and balanced, and this is no exception. Spicy grapefruit is the dominant impression in the nose and flavors. Clean as a whistle and excellent with food. Only down side (and this is a matter of taste): this wine is more on the "grassy" side of the Sauvignon Blanc scale than the "melon/fig/fruit" side, and I tend to prefer the latter. - HK 2002-06-21 [Back] |
