What a steal this wine was for $12.99! Really impressive depth and richness to this "lowly" Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux. Ripe deep blackberry and Cassis notes touched with smoke and licorice. Almost California-like velvety, ripe mouth feel. Not at all thin or austere or herbal/green as one might expect at this price point. I've had many a wine at triple this price that didn't provide as much pleasure. - HK 2017-04-06
