Interesting red. Definitely on the claret rather than Zinfandel side of the textural spectrum. Subdued but complex aromas of smokey blackberry fruit with a spice and floral edge. Fairly austere in the mouth and finish. But nicely balanced and well made. Not sure it's worth a separate bottling, though. - HK 2015-06-25
