A ripely fruity wine that truly justifies the title "juicy." Deep black cherry, charcoal, pine resin, violets in the nose, which broadens to include strawberry preserves and a hint of Dr. Pepper in the flavors. The fruit density entirely hides the elevated alcohol level. Silky smooth and rich in the mouth, fully drinkable at an early age. I wouldn't hold this one long, but it's drinking absolutely great at age 5. - HK 2015-01-20
