This is a gorgeous Dry Creek Zinfandel, with a remarkable feeling of focus and intensity without being clumsy or overdone. Dense layers of spicy blackberry and raspberry fruit, seamless texture throughout, long finish. The high alcohol is almost imperceptible behind the concentration and purity of the flavors. If a newcomer wanted to know what a Zin ought to taste like, it would be hard to find a much better example, especially at this price point. - HK 2015-04-02
