Not my favorite vintage among the excellently-priced Foxglove Chardonnays I've tried. At least in this tasting (admittedly against some more expensive Chardonnays), the 2008 came across as somewhat chunky and simple. OK mineral-infused nose of banana and citrus, but for whatever reason, it didn't strike me as having the grip and flavor interest of either the 2006 or 2007. Still, good quality for the price. - HK 2009-12-27
