Had some similarity to the delicious ''97 Carignane, though a bit higher acid, a bit less delineation in the flavors, and a less impressive finish. Same general flavor profile: earth, spice, cherries. Good wine, though the consensus was that it was a step below the '97. - WB Team 2001-07-19
