Not quite the powerhouse the 2009 was, but the 2011 is another great showing for the Zotovich Syrah. Lovely, concentrated, complex nose displays blueberry liqueur, cassis, blackberry, and floral notes along with a big dose of piquant pepper and smoke. Powerful yet smooth and balanced in the mouth and finish. - HK 2016-03-21
