Great feeling of freshness and purity in this wine. Aromas and flavors lean towards lime, melon, dried herbs, white flowers with a pronounced stony note. The usual Sancerre crisp, clean texture in the mouth. Wonderful with fish. I'm not sure what "Appellation Sancerre Protégée" means as opposed to the usual "Appellation Sancerre Controlée," but the quality here is certainly up to snuff. - HK 2018-09-01 [Back] |
