Dull and underendowed Zinfandel that is bettered by many if not most Zins in this price range. Claret-like structure with straightforward, unassertive, slightly herbal berry and currant fruit. Not much zip in the aromas, flavors or finish. Certainly OK wine, just not at this price level.
