At this age it has shed its tannic cloak, but without losing its classy structure. Despite its suspiciously low alcohol (for a Dry Crrek Zin in a warm year, that is), it displays mouth-filling fruit that tweaks the palate with excellent grip and length. Flavors of blackberries, dark currants, super-ripe blueberries, smoky spices, and the perfect touch of sweet oak. Admirable balance, delightfully rich in the mouth, long finish.
