Suave, rich, seamless wine which, in 2012, is at the sweet spot on its drinkability curve. Deep, classic mix of dark currant and berry fruit. Nice integration of smoky oak, beautifully balanced all around. Smooth as silk, but with plenty of underlying structure to keep it interesting.
