Extremely reliable Chardonnay. Has the usual Cambria complement of rich fruit and mouth-coating texture, highlighted by ripe banana, mango, and toasty oak. Full, oily mouth feel with spiced tropical fruits in the forefront and the finish. Despite the tropical fruit textures, this wine is not at all flabby because the flavors are so nicely framed by the wine's acidity. This wine plus cashews are a match made in heaven. - HK 2002-02-14
