Very Burgundian weight and feel to this wine, definitely cool-climate California style That's not unexpected since the vineyard is in Annapolis, only 3 miles from the coast in far northern Sonoma County. Tautly structured, but displaying an attractive mix of flavors and aromas - strawberry, red raspberry, rhubarb, red roses, earthy/leafy notes.
