According to the label, this wine is primarily from 50 year-old vines from the Buchignani-Garcia Vineyard in Dry Creek. Perhaps the choice of French Nevers Oak barrels had something to do with the luscious, cream-caramel flavored attack. A berry midrange and a perfumy finish round out this excellent wine. Most impressive! (Price is with B&M discount card. Standard price is $11.99) - MJA 2003-01-01
