Although recommended by the Whole Foods-Palo Alto wine buyer, Paul, as a great buy in the sub $10 range, this wine just doesn't measure up. To me it is dull, overly austere, watery, short, and finishes with a metalic note. Some ginger spice is apparent, but, contrary to the WF review, I did't notice any cassis or other fruit.
