| 2014 La Chablisienne Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons Chablis, Burgundy, France WB Rating: 88 Alcohol by volume: 13.0% Price at time of purchase: $24.99 (K&L) Type: Chardonnay Principal varietal(s): Chardonnay Bright crystalline yellow with a green tinge. Excellent nose displays lemon/lime citrus, dry straw, and herbal elements. In the mouth, quite tart and not as full and flavorful as the nose promises. The wine falls off somewhat at the end, too, with the acid leading the way.
