I've had really poor luck with the more generic Clos du Bois wines, but this Chardonnay blended from a number of Russian River vineyards is a delight. Chablis-like energy and focus. Aromas and flavors of lemon and orange citrus, vanilla, cloves, and an intriguing flinty/smokey oak component. Rich and satisfying, but with a real sense of elegance and class. - HK 2010-09-27
