Another refreshing, fruit-filled Olivet Ranch from DeLoach. This one has clean, buttery green apple fruit, nutmeg-like spice, good acid balance, and an attractive level of toasty oak in the finish. Not a blockbuster, but an excellent white for lighter-weight hot-weather foods. - HK 2003-06-14
