Excellent Pinot Noir, made from old vines and bottled unfiltered. In a price range comparable to (actually lower than) most reasonably good California Pinots. Beautiful deep ruby purple. Nose-caressing perfume of smoky ripe cherry with a hint of plum and vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with an elegant feel to it. Still probably a year or two from its peak but good stuff already! To get it you may need to order as in futures. Imported by North Berkeley Wine Imports. - HK 2000-07-16
