This entry-level Pinot from Drew is already quite drinkable at age 2. Smooth and easy to enjoy, though it still shows a tinge of tightness that will soften in a year or two. Not surprisingly, lacks the depth and grip of the higher-level Drew Pinot's. Still, the wine shows classic cherry-strawberry fruit in the foreground with hints of charcoal and spice in the background. Satisfying feeling of ripeness and balance in the mouth and finish. - HK 2014-09-17
