Designated "Bordeaux Style" by the vineyard, but not as earthy and tannic in our opinion as your average claret. This is a well integrated, full-bodied cab, with an initial impression of cherry-liqueur-filled chocolate on the palate. There are enough tannins present for some cellaring potential, but this wine tastes very well now, so why not enjoy! Overall a good wine at a fair price. - MJA 2000-06-30
