Elegant, balanced Pinot that shows nice focus in its dark berry and slightly floral nose and flavors. Complex notes of pine resin, spice, and earthiness. May actually open up more with a few years additional aging, but already drinking well. Doesn't quite have the velvety edge that DG wines typically show in riper years. - HK 2016-05-30
