An incredibly well-priced wine from one of the sweet spots in Macon. Fresh, pure Chardonnay exhibiting a complex mix of aromas (straw, vanilla, toffee, lemon, brown butter), medium-body, and crisp mouth feel, and lengthy citrus and butter dominated finish. Great with shellfish. (Purchased in an excellent mixed-case holiday special at North Berkeley. Normal retail price would be somewhat higher.) - HK 2008-02-02
