| 2010 Joseph Phelps / Freestone Vineyards Pinot Noir "Freestone" Sonoma Coast, California WB Rating: 91 Alcohol by volume: 14.0% Price at time of purchase: $55.00 (Winery) Type: Pinot Noir / Burgundy Principal varietal(s): Pinot Noir This wine came across exceedingly well at this most recent tasting. Reminded me, actually, of a central Russian River Pinot in its velvety feel and deep fruit. Very fresh and lively cherry and blackberry fruit, with a good dose of sweet spice and flowers.
