Medium-bodied Pinot from a vineyard that today would be in the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA. Fresh cool climate Pinot fruit suggestive of pomegranate and dark cherry. Less fruit-forward than some of the other Hartford Pinot's, but the more overt nuances of dried herbs and earthiness are attractive here, not intrusive. Moderately full and authoritative in its texture. Nice flow and harmony in the overall feel. Developing nicely, though I'm not sure it's ever going to taste better than it does right now. - HK 2020-03-17
