Excellent Alexander Valley Cabernet drinking at its peak. Fairly soft and straight-ahead when first opened, but blossomed and broadened nicely with airing to reveal ripe black currant fruit along with attractive savory notes of mint and sage. Well-structured and balanced, grips the mouth nicely with a solid finish. Very good price for a Cab of this quality. Beautiful label, too. - HK 2014-05-06
