2002 Louis Jadot Beaujolais Beaujolais, France WB Rating: 82 Alcohol by volume: 12.5% Price at time of purchase: $5.99 (Costco) Type: Beaujolais Principal varietal(s): Gamay Quite good for the price. Appealing deep cherry-red color, pleasant raspberry-laden nose with no strong bubblegum notes. Not surprisingly, this wine is not especially full in the mouth and the finish is not exactly Chateau Latour. But easy to drink and a good light-weight wine to gulp down with some sausages in front of the TV. - HK 2004-11-16 [Back] |
