Another exceptional buy - the Kendall Jackson Chardonnays always are, at every price point - though I found the 2007 Grand Reserve to be a touch less interesting and flavorful than the 2006. Even so, this is a crisp, clean, fruit-filled, balanced Chardonnay displaying tropical and citrus fruit along with subtle toasty/spicy oak notes and good length and depth. I am so spoiled by these Kendall-Jackson Chardonnays that I sometimes forget how astonishingly good they are for the price - well under half what most comparable Chardonnays sell for. - HK 2009-10-14
