As with the Dom. Lafage Centennaire white, the Tessallae red is an astonishingly good bargain at $12. Lots of energy and flavor interest in this youthful red. Deep plum color, melange of flavors - cherry, plum, kirsch liqueur, vanilla, white pepper. Came across like a mix of top-flight Beaujolais with Zinfandel and Syrah. Rich, palate-caressing texture and excellent balance. - HK 2015-09-02
