| 2008 Landmark Chardonnay "Overlook" California WB Rating: 87 Alcohol by volume: 14.6% Price at time of purchase: $26.00 (Winery) Type: Chardonnay Principal varietal(s): Chardonnay The Overlook Chardonnay is pretty much a sure-thing year after year, though I have to say I clearly prefer the 2007 to the 2008 vintage for this wine. The 2008 is very soft and open-knit, with attractive vanilla-tinged tropical and orange-peel aromas, a clean and refreshing mouth feel, and lingering soft white fruit flavors.
