Firmly structured, beefy Rhone-style blend consisting of 63% Syrah and 37% Grenache. Still tannic and taut at age 4, but even so its balance and grip are evident and appealing. Earthy black raspberry fruit with a floral edge, touched with a rich herbal melange and a suggestion of roasted meat. Really well-made; wish I'd waited a couple of years on this one since, as good as it is now, it's only going to get better. - HK 2015-10-03
