I found this inexpensive Pinot Nor from M. Magnien to be superior to the '02 Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, though its overall depth and flavor interest are more or less consistent with the low price. Light ruby color, quite attractive Burgundian nose displaying cherry and floral notes. In the mouth, unpleasantly high acid level detracts from the otherwise light and pleasant flavors. Predictably short finish. Don't go out of your way for this one, even at $6.99. - HK 2006-01-05
