I think I still prefer the excellent 2006 MP Shiraz to the 2007, but the 2007 is a good one too, and it will probably improve over the next year or two. As always, opaque purple color and super-ripe, chewy texture, lots of rich blueberry and black raspberry fruit along with an attractive smokey/gamey component. Lots of tannin to keep the structure in line, but it's not that intrusive even at this young age. Great buy every year. - HK 2009-05-02
